DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, April 1. A total of 236 cars were exported from Georgia to Tajikistan from January through February 2024, which is 59.3 percent less than the 580 cars exported during the same period in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), the value of the exports amounted to $3.652 million, decreasing by 36.2 percent compared to January–February 2023, which totaled $5.724 million.
The trade turnover between Tajikistan and Georgia totaled $5.070 million from January through February 2024, which is a 21.5 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2023 ($6.460 million).
Exports from Georgia to Tajikistan amounted to $4.940 million in the first two months of 2024, declining by 23 percent compared to January–February 2023 ($6.460 million).
Meanwhile, Georgian imports from Tajikistan amounted to $129,240, whereas there were no imports recorded in January–February 2023.
