DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, April 11. The Asian Development Bank has published forecasts for inflation in Tajikistan for 2024–2026, Trend reports.
As the forecast reads, the inflation rate in Tajikistan in 2024 will be 4.7 percent, which is 0.9 percent above the 2023 inflation rate.
Furthermore, the World Bank predicts that inflation will
continue to grow in 2025, hitting 6 percent and remaining stable at
6 percent in 2026.
Meanwhile, today, the Asian Development Bank updated its Tajikistan
inflation projection. Tajikistan's inflation is expected to hit 5.5
percent in 2024 and then rise to 6.5 percent in 2025, according to
the ADB.
Tajikistan's inflation rate in 2023 declined to 3.8 percent from 4.2 percent in 2022. Food prices rose by 3.4 percent, non-food products by 6.6 percent, and services by 1.2 percent.
