Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Oct.4 / Trend, H. Hasanov /
Chemix BV International (Netherlands) will sign a contract for equipment supply, installation and commissioning of a plant for the recycling of lubricating oil waste and other oil products used in Turkmenistan.
According to an official Turkmen source, the Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ministry of Turkmenistan will sign a contract in accordance with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov's decree.
Turkmenistan has increased its production of lubricating oils, particularly at the country's largest enterprise, the Turkmenbashi oil refinery, in recent years. Output rose by almost half in 2011 compared to last year's figures.
This refinery produces more than 30 types of multi-purpose lubricating oils used in agro-industry, the energy sphere, automotive, rail, sea and river transport.
Turkmenistan is one of the largest producers of this product in the region. Production volume, range and quality of oils produced fully meets the domestic market's demand for high-performance motor oils for passenger cars, as well as cargo vehicles and agricultural equipment operating in difficult conditions.
The enterprise masters a new scheme of processing that is suitable for getting lubricating oils of different brands through German firm Edeleanu Geselshaft GmbH's technology. The oil refinery has established the mass production of commodity oils for aggregates, units and mechanisms of industrial equipment (industrial, turbine, compressor, hydraulic).
