Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov made reshuffle in the law enforcement agencies, appointing new Prosecutor General and Supreme Court Chief, the Turkmenistan-4 TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Berdimuhammedov signed the relevant decrees at the meeting of the State Security Council.
Berdimuhammedov granted Prosecutor General Chary Hojamyradov's appeal with the parliament's consent and discharged him due to his health state.
Former Chairman of the Supreme Court Yaranmyrat Yazmyradov was appointed as the new Prosecutor General. Yazmyradov was assigned the rank of senior counselor of justice.
First Deputy Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan Amanmyrat Halliyev was appointed as the Supreme Court Chief. The parliament approved the decision.
