Baymyrad Hojamuhamedov, Deputy Chairman (Oil & Gas), Cabinet of Ministers will lead a 15 strong Turkmen State Delegation to Germany for the Turkmenistan Oil & Gas Road Show, to be held in the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, Berlin, 14 ‐ 15 March 2012.
Following the success of the inaugural Turkmenistan Oil & Gas Road Show held in Singapore, 3 ‐ 4 March 2011, the second edition of the event in Berlin will focus on investment opportunities for international companies in Turkmenistan's oil and gas industry.
The last audit of Turkmenistan's gas reserves, announced at the 16th Turkmenistan International Oil & Gas Conference in November 2011 in Ashgabat, confirmed that the Galkynysh gas field is now considered the second largest in the World in terms of reserves.
Turkmenistan pays particular attention to the development of the oil & gas industry. Existing
favourable investment climate in Turkmenistan is demonstrated by the multi‐billion dollar contracts awarded to international companies.
The conference agenda will focus on attracting large‐scale investments, innovative technologies, and expertise for the advancement of oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan as well as strengthen international cooperation. Turkmenistan Oil & Gas Road Show will present an opportunity for companies to get up to date information regarding Turkmenistan's oil & gas sector and its future development, meet with decision makers of our country, and establish valuable contacts for further business cooperation.
