Some 20 draft documents relating to regional cooperation in the economic and humanitarian fields and security are planned to be discussed at the Council of the CIS Heads of State (CHS), which will be held on November 2 in Ashgabat, the CIS Executive Committee reported.
Turkmenistan is hosting the forum as the Chairman country of the CIS in 2012.
Information and Analytical Department of the Executive Committee noted that the project on 'decision on the preparation for celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War ' (1941-1945) is the most important document to be discussed.
An agreement on cooperation in the field of integrated currency market of the CIS member states and decisions on the implementation of activities in the field of communication and information will be in the list of issues related to the economic sphere.
The draft of the first document is aimed at facilitating foreign exchange transactions by mutual access of legal persons, entitled to conduct foreign exchange transactions, to foreign exchange markets of the states. Compared with the current procedures of exchange through authorized banks, the procedure proposed in the agreement is easier and more profitable.
The CIS Executive Committee reported that the draft documents relating to the field of security and countering new challenges and threats, including an agreement on the formation of CIS council of heads of financial intelligence departments will be considered at the meeting.
It is also expected to approve the prospective long-term development directions of the united air defense system of CIS state members.
One of the key documents is a draft decision on the activities of the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS member states on strengthening of cooperation in the integration field within CIS.
Personnel issues related to the approval of Chairman of the CIS Economic Court, Head of the Anti-Terrorist Center of CIS member states and the appointment of Chairman of the Coordination Committee on air defence issues of CIS member states will be a separate unit on the agenda.
A number of other projects are going to be reviewed within the meeting.
