A package of 20 documents was signed after the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the CIS States in Ashgabat, RIA Novosti reported.
In particular, the declaration of the Heads of the CIS States on the further development of comprehensive cooperation was signed. The head of the states also decided to declare 2013 as the year of ecological culture and environmental protection in the CIS.
The meeting also signed an agreement on cooperation in the organization of an integrated currency market of the Commonwealth.
It was also decided to form a CIS council of heads of financial intelligence.
The head of the states also signed an agreement on cooperation in training of anti-terrorist units in the educational institutions of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth countries.
In addition, an agreement on cooperation in the logistics between the competent authorities involved in combating terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism is signed.
Promising areas of the united air defense system of the CIS are adopted following the meeting.
The decision on implementation of inter-state program Cultural Capitals of the Commonwealth in Azerbaijan, Armenia and Belarus in 2013 was also signed.
The head of the states also signed a decision on the chairmanship in the CIS and on holding of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth.
The decisions on the preparation for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 and the activities of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly to strengthen the integration interaction were signed.
The head of the states also signed an action plan for implementation of the protocol on the approval of provisions on the organization of interaction of border and other agencies of the CIS countries.
The meeting also agreed on the head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center.
