Turkmen ambassador accredited to Netherlands

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the Netherlands (with the residence in Brussels) Kakajan Mommadov presented his credentials to the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander, the government of Turkmenistan said Dec.3.
During the conversation, the king of the Netherlands conveyed greetings to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and wished success and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.
The sides discussed perspective directions of development of the Turkmen-Dutch bilateral relations at the meeting.
Turkmenistan has the fourth largest natural gas reserves in the world and adheres to the concept of diversification of hydrocarbon transportation to the world markets, including Europe.
It was earlier reported that the Dutch Alliance Engineering and Construction B.V got a contract for construction of the largest primary oil refining unit in the country with a capacity of three million metric tons in a plant in the city of Turkmenbashi.
It was also earlier reported that Chemix BV International (the Netherlands) got a contract for the supply of equipment, installation and commissioning of a plant for the recycling of lubricating oil waste and other oil products used in Turkmenistan.
