Turkmenistan, India sign some intergovernmental documents

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and the delegations of the two countries had expanded talks in Ashgabat July 11, the government of Turkmenistan said.

A signing ceremony of bilateral documents was held following the talks.

The memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of tourism, the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of yoga and traditional medicine, the program of cooperation in the field of science and technology for 2015-2017 and others approved at the intergovernmental level are among the signed documents.

An agreement on cooperation in the field of sport was signed between the State Committee of Sports of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Republic of India.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan and the Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India.

A memorandum of understanding on the supply of chemical products was signed between the Turkmenhimiya State Concern and PSU Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers company of the Republic of India.
