Germany's SAP SE corporation has put forward concrete proposals on providing Turkmenistan's Turkmenbashi sea port with the latest electronic systems, read a message from Turkmenistan's government June 6.
The presentation was held during the joint forum "Turkmenistan - Germany: Day of innovative technologies" held in Germany's Walldorf city with participation of 30 largest German companies and a delegation from Turkmenistan.
German companies emphasized their interest in boosting the cooperation with Turkmenistan, said the message.
During the forum, SAP presented innovative solutions for the effective management of the port infrastructure.
Export and import and transit cargo, as well as the oil and oil products, industrial and construction equipment is transported via the Turkmenbashi international sea port.
The shortest routes linking the Central Asia with European countries, India and Pakistan, as well as the states of the Indian Ocean run through the Caspian Sea.
