Trend:
Turkmenistan's Dana Dunya enterprise began to produce composite paving slabs, building blocks, as well as facade tiles and roofing material.
The basic raw materials for these products are the used plastic bottles, packaging and other products. Also, the end-of-life tires are recycled at the enterprise.
Coverings for children's playgrounds and sports grounds are made of the recycled rubber crumb by method of thermo-pressing.
A distinctive feature of building blocks made of recyclables is special locks, which provide adhesion in the masonry without the use of cement mortars. Such blocks can also be used in load-bearing structures.
The strength, durability, high resistance to temperature extremes and chemically aggressive reagents provide the products with high demand in the domestic construction market, and dozens of tons of the manufactured paving slabs are exported to neighboring countries.
The light, aesthetic and inexpensive composite roofing tiles and facade tiles enjoy the greatest demand.
The enterprise is planning to produce speed bumps as well.
