Turkmenistan’s total export from Poland from January through June 2021 amounted to 10.7 million Euros in value terms and 18,550 tons in physical terms, Trend reports referring to Eurostat.
According to Eurostat, during the reporting period, Poland exported to Turkmenistan manly nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances worth 4.1 million Euros in the amount of 3,171 tons.
In addition, a significant volume of furniture, bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings, lamps and lighting fittings were exported from Poland to Turkmenistan - 3 million Euros in the amount of 2,485 tons.
Also, the list of polish goods imported by Turkmenistan in 1H2021 included meat for 496,279 Euros, animal or vegetable fats and oils and their cleavage products – 62,206 Euros, preparations of cereals, flour, starch or milk – 23,669 Euros, beverages, spirits and vinegar – 37,319 Euros, tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes – 36,307 Euros, essential oils, perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations – 443,539 Euros, soap, washing preparations, lubricating preparations, artificial waxes etc. – 56,452 Euros.
Moreover, Turkmenistan imported from Poland plastics worth 261,456 Euros, carpets and other textile floor coverings – 120,304 Euros, construction materials (stone, plaster, cement, asbestos, mica etc.) – 5,862 Euros, ceramic products – 23,511 Euros, iron or steel – 136,938 Euros, electrical machinery and equipment – 156,049 Euros and vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock – 245,217 Euros.
At the same time, in 1H2021 Turkmenistan’s total exported to Poland in value terms amounted to 11,406 Euros, while in physical terms it amounted to 11,406 tons.
In particular, during the reporting period Poland exported from Turkmenistan cotton and knitted or crocheted fabrics worth 11, 970 and 55 450 Euros, respectively.
