The Cotton Mill named after Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, located in the Khalach district of the Lebap region, has produced 3,921 tons of yarn since the beginning of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan.
According to the information, 2,557 tons of the cotton yarn produced by the mill since the beginning of 2021 was exported. The volume of exports amounted to 25,925,105 manats ($7.5 million).
It is noted that the cotton yarn produced by the factory is exported in various sizes to countries such as Russia, Turkey, Iran and Poland.
Also, the mill in 9M2021 manufactured products for worth 39.3 million manats ($11.4 million). It is reported that the mill produced five types of cotton yarns of different sizes.
The mill was founded in 2004 under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.
