BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Lebapgazchygarysh, the gas production department of the Turkmengas state concern is carrying out comprehensive work to increase gas production, Trend reports with reference to the ORIENT information portal.
In the Lebap province of Turkmenistan, work continues on the overhaul of wells, as well as the restoration and increase of their productivity. In 2022, the crews repaired and commissioned 3 wells, and in 2021 – 42 wells. At the same time, in 2021, natural gas production was increased by 44 percent compared to 2020.
Furthermore, specialists continue to carry out work aimed at increasing the productivity of production wells and restoring inactive gas wells.
Turkmenistan pays great attention to the establishment of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
