BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. The total trade volume between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan reached $29.19 million from January through February 2022, a 4-fold increase from $5.09 million in the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the statistics data of Azerbaijan’s Customs Committee.
From January through February 2022, Turkmenistan exported goods worth $22.64 million to Azerbaijan, an increase of 63 times from $355,230 in January of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s imports amounted to 1.15 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.02 percent during the same period of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s imports from Azerbaijan amounted to $6.54 million from January through February 2022, up by 1.3 times compared to $4.73 million in the same period of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s exports amounted to 0.11 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.17 percent during the same period of 2021.
