BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh via videoconference, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
During the talks, the diplomats stressed the high level of trust-based cooperation between the top leadership of both countries.
At the same time, trade and economic relations between the two countries were discussed in detail, and the parties expressed interest in expanding the range of cooperation between public and private structures of Turkmenistan and the UAE.
In this regard, the sides discussed issues related to the preparation for the next meeting of the Joint Committee on Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE.
The parties agreed on issues related to the implementation of peace-loving initiatives and partnerships within the UN and other international organizations.
Following the talks, the diplomats expressed the hope that this meeting will contribute to the further deepening of bilateral relations.
