BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Turkmenistan will stimulate the production of fodder wheat, corn, and soybeans in the country in order to support private poultry enterprises, Trend reports citing Orient news.

The corresponding resolution was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council of the country.

In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, regional mayorships, and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs organize events for sowing corn in the country on an area of 20,000 hectares, soybeans – 20,000 hectares, fodder wheat – 40,000 hectares.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the State Committee of Water Management and the Turkmenhimiya State Concern will have to provide producers with seeds, maintenance, irrigation water and mineral fertilizers.

Turkmenistan invests heavily in the formation of modern industrial infrastructure, which contributes both to the comprehensive development of the regions and to the economic prosperity of the country as a whole.
