BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. The Lebapgazchykarysh department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern exceeded the natural gas output plan by 24,6 percent in January-May 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, gas production amounted to 5.28 billion cubic meters. Over the plan, almost 1.44 billion cubic meters were extracted
In addition, 22,200 tons of gas condensate were produced. As a result, the five-month gas condensate production plan was exceeded by 17,2 percent.
Meanwhile, 83.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Turkmenistan last year, which is the highest figure in the last 30 years.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
