BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. Afghan entrepreneurs purchased liquefied natural gas during trading on September 9 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.

Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased over 1,500 tons of liquefied gas on the exchange at a price of $539 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $809,300.

Furthermore, according to the exchange, the price of Turkmen liquefied natural gas decreased by 1.4 percent compared to previous transactions.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
