BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 9. The Government of Pakistan has developed a plan for the import of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by land from Turkmenistan through Afghanistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.
According to the information, the Customs Service of the city of Quetta (Pakistan), after consultations with interested parties, sent to the Federal Board of Revenue a plan for the import of liquefied petroleum gas across the border of the Pakistani city of Chaman.
Deliveries are planned to be carried out as follows: Afghan carriers will drive empty Pakistani fuel trucks from the border in Chaman to the border crossing with Turkmenistan in Torghundi (Afghanistan) to load liquefied petroleum gas into tanks. Then the fuel trucks will go back to Chaman and will be handed over to Pakistani carriers who will deliver the cargo to the necessary destinations.
In the future, Pakistan plans to install specialized equipment for pumping liquefied gas on the border with the city of Chaman.
