BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 27. Turkmenistan has revealed the planned area of land for cotton crops in 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

According to the information, 580,000 hectares will be sown in the country this year, from which it is planned to harvest 1.25 million tons of cotton.

In order to ensure uninterrupted operation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan will provide for the purchase of equipment, inventory and spare parts this year.

Agriculture in Turkmenistan is developing rapidly. This is one of the most important sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan.

The state provides targeted support for the development of the agricultural sector in the country.
