BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 7. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $77 million last week, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

Entrepreneurs from Türkiye, UAE and Afghanistan purchased gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex. Businessmen from the UAE, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation fuel and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the enterprise of the Turkmennebit State Concern.

Representatives of business circles from Turkmenistan purchased petroleum coke and packaging film for the domestic market in the exchange for a total amount of more than 75.5 million Turkmen manats ($21.6 million).

Businessmen from UAE and Türkiye purchased cotton yarn in the amount of 25.3 million Turkmen manats ($7.2 million).

A total of 46 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
