BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 15. Representatives of the Turkmen Agency of Sea and River Transport "Turkmendeñizderýaýollary" and Vitol Bahrain E.C. oil trading company (Kingdom of Bahrain) held an online meeting during which issues of cooperation in the field of investment and ship repair were discussed, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Turkmen State Service of Maritime and River Transportation.
During the meeting, the sides noted that Turkmen vessels making international flights carrying oil and petroleum products regularly undergo repairs in accordance with the requirements of the International Association of Classification Societies.
According to the information, the Marine Merchant Fleet CJSC of Turkmenistan and Vitol Bahrain E.C. have been maintaining close cooperation since 2019. The company's crude oil and petroleum products are transported on international flights by Turkmen tankers Khazar, Aladzha, Kenar, Etrek, Jeyhun, and Sumbar.
At the end of the meeting, the parties noted that they will continue to develop bilateral cooperation, and appropriate work will be carried out to implement the tasks outlined.
