Turkmenistan studying Pakistan's experience in organization of cargo transportation control

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. Specialists of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan visited Pakistan within the framework of the global program of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the World Customs Organization (WCO) Global Container Control Programme (CCP), Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen State Customs Service.

During the trip, the Turkmen representatives visited the Karachi Port and the Qasim International Container Terminal.

The representatives of the Turkmen side were provided with information based on the best practices of Pakistan in the organization of cargo transportation control and the activities of the port control unit in Karachi.

During the visit, consultations were also held between members of the port control groups of Turkmenistan and Pakistan to strengthen regional practical cooperation.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Islamabad Atadjan Movlamov held a meeting in the Pakistani capital with the Federal Minister of Energy of Pakistan Khurram Dastgir Khan at the end of January this year, during which they discussed the intensification of trade and economic cooperation.
