BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. Uzbek entrepreneurs purchased float glass during trading on April 4 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
Businessmen from Uzbekistan purchased 100,000 square meters of sheet float glass of various thicknesses on the exchange. The cost of the products ranged from $4.07 to $6 per square meter. The total amount of the transaction was $561,400.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on March 14, entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan purchased 125,000 square meters of sheet float glass in the amount of $682,750.
Float sheet glass has high optical characteristics that exclude image distortion. It is used in construction for windows, showcases, facades, and other purposes. In Turkmenistan, these products are manufactured by the Turkmen Ayna Onumleri plant.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
