BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $20.08 million last week, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, entrepreneurs from UAE, Singapore, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas and petroleum bitumen produced at the enterprises of Turkmennebit, Turkmengaz, and Turkmenhimiya state concerns in exchange for foreign currency.
A total of 25 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
