BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and UAE purchased gasoline for Turkmen production during trading on April 28 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
Businessmen from Afghanistan and UAE purchased 41,000 tons of gasoline on the exchange at a price of $654.25 per ton. The total amount of the transactions was $28.9 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on May 1, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 6,800 tons of gasoline in the amount of $4.9 million.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
