BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. Turkmenabat chemical plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov, located in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, produced over 61,000 tons of phosphorus fertilizers from January through March 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, in general, the plant's work plan was exceeded by 6 percent, and the production growth rate was 15 percent.
At the same time, in the first 3 months of this year, the plant produced 23,200 tons of sulfuric acid, which is significantly higher than in the same period last year.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the most important sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
