BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. Representatives of Turkmen State Service of Maritime and River Transportation and Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Dhd company held a meeting during which they discussed the issues of establishing cooperation on shipbuilding projects, Trend reports.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the further development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation and the repair of floating structures.
Furthermore, representatives of the company were familiarized with the capabilities and capacities of Balkan Shipyard and Ship Repair Plant, and noted the expediency of establishing cooperation on the repair of ships and floating facilities at the corresponding shipbuilding shipyard.
In particular, the company's representatives expressed their willingness to cooperate on the repair of two floating platforms at the shipyard, namely, an oil production platform and an oil storage facility.
At the end of the meeting, the parties noted that they are ready for further expansion of cooperation in the field of shipbuilding and will make every effort to achieve their goals.
