ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 17. There are currently 1,005,671 residential buildings in Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
This was stated by the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan Dovletgeldi Amanmukhammedov at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 14, 2023.
According to him, the number of residential buildings is currently 12.4 percent higher compared to the 2012 census.
Furthermore, Amanmukhammedov noted that the total area of residential buildings in the country is 165,167,523 square meters, which is an increase of 24.5 percent compared to the 2012 census.
Meanwhile, through the creation of a large number of residential facilities, Turkmenistan strives to provide decent conditions for its citizens and support the stable development of the national economy. This is an indicator of the desire to improve the quality of life and provide housing infrastructure for all segments of the population.
