ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 29. Turkmenistan and John Deere company discussed prospects for further partnership in the supply of agricultural machinery, Trend reports.
These issues were discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of the People's Council of the National Assembly of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the President, Worldwide Agriculture and Turf Division, of the John Deere company, Mark von Pentz.
Berdimuhamedov noted that agriculture is one of the most important branches of the national economy, and ensuring food security is directly related to the well-being of the people.
He stressed that targeted measures are being taken in Turkmenistan to modernize the production capacities of the agro-industrial complex, in the activities of which advanced technologies and the best world experience are being introduced.
During the meeting, an interesting discussion of the prospects for further bilateral cooperation took place. In this regard, the long-term nature of established business contacts with John Deere, which is one of the long-standing reliable partners of Turkmenistan in the agro-industrial sector, was stated.
Meanwhile, the development of cooperation between John Deere and Turkmenistan is a successful example of partnership in agriculture and agricultural machinery. Since the beginning of this creative collaboration, John Deere has been providing modern agricultural machinery and equipment that help Turkmenistan increase the productivity and efficiency of the agricultural sector.
