ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 7. Turkmenistan has sold a large amount of carbamide to businessmen from Türkiye and Afghanistan on its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, a deal was reached to purchase carbamide for $284 per ton for a total of approximately $4.26 million.
The contract for this volume of carbamide was signed with Turkmenistan's Turkmenhimiya State Concern.
Furthermore, business leaders from the UAE agreed to purchase textile products from a Turkmen enterprise for a total of $254,100.
Turkmenistan's biggest carbamide producers are the Garabogazkarbamid and Tejenkarbamid plants.
The Garabogazkarbamid facility is Central Asia's largest, with a capacity of 1.15 million tons of fertilizer per year.
