ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 17. The flour milling enterprise of the Turkmenabat city, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, manufactured products totaling over 32.9 million Turkmen manat ($9.42 million), Trend reports.
During the given time period, the enetreprise produced flour milling products worth 400,000 Turkmen manat ($114,500) higher than the targeted volumes.
Thus, in the first eight months of this year, the company produced approximately 41,100 tons of flour, 104 tons of semolina, and 12,014 tons of bran.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan, with its abundant natural resources and good climate, places a premium on agricultural growth and food security.
The government of Turkmenistan has been paying special attention to the food sector in recent years, striving to make the country less dependent on imports and ensure a sustainable supply of food to the population.
