ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 8. Dostluk enterprise located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan processed almost 29,300 tons of wheat from January through November this year, Trend reports.
During this period, the enterprise produced almost 22,000 tons of flour, 6,760 tons of bran, and 1,240 tons of bread.
In value terms, from January through November of this year, Dostlug manufactured products totaling 20.37 million Turkmen manat ($5.81 million), with a growth rate of 2 percent.
Furthermore, in 2022, this enterprise manufactured more than 26,300 tons of flour, 8,100 tons of bran, 1,400 tons of bread and bakery products, 750 tons of rice, while fulfilling the production plan.
Modern equipment and computers are used for production, which ensures the smooth operation of the entire enterprise.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan prioritizes agricultural expansion and food security due to its enormous natural resources and favorable environment.
Turkmenistan's government has paid special attention to the food sector in recent years, aiming to reduce the country's reliance on imports and secure a sustainable supply of food to the population.
