ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 9. Turkmenistan imported a large volume of coffee and cocoa products from foreign countries for the whole year 2023, Trend reports.
According to official data, 6,555 tons of coffee and cocoa products were imported into Turkmenistan's market during this period, the main share of which fell on such well-known brands as Nescafe, Jacobs, Camel, MacCoffee, Hot Drops, and Nesquik.
Furthermore, coffee and cocoa products are not only imported into Turkmenistan, but local enterprises also actively export them to other countries, thereby strengthening trade ties and their presence on the world market.
For example, Turkmenistan's 'Toyly' company exported over 17.6 tons of coffee to foreign countries under the 'Markow' trademark only from September through December last year.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively developing its trade and local enterprises, focusing on expanding export and import potential.
The increase in exports contributes to strengthening Turkmenistan's position in world markets, and the expansion of the import range provides access to new technologies and products, stimulating the innovative development of local industries.
