ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 8. Farmers in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan from January through April this year have a large number of agricultural products, Trend reports.
According to official data, during this period, farmers in the region produced over 46,600 tons of meat (in live weight), 161,500 tons of milk, and 74.1 million chicken eggs.
Furthermore, most of these products were produced by private firms in the region, which highlights the favorable conditions and various benefits from the state for the effective work of individuals.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan's farming sector, specializing in animal husbandry, plays an important role in the national economy, providing a significant part of food security and agricultural production.
The Government of Turkmenistan actively supports the development of this industry through subsidy programs, the improvement of veterinary services, the introduction of modern technologies, and infrastructure for the storage and processing of products.
These measures are aimed at increasing productivity, improving the quality of livestock products, and expanding the country's export opportunities.
