Czech President Vaclav Klaus appointed new Czech ambassador to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, with residence in Tashkent, the site of the Czech diplomatic mission in Tashkent said on Wednesday.
Hynek Pejcha appointed the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary at the suggestion of Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg, and after consultation with the Government.
At this point, all three countries have already expressed their agreement with this proposal.
Hynek Pejcha is a professional diplomat, and is now actively preparing for his new diplomatic mission in Central Asia, the Czech Embassy said.
