According to the Uzbek president`s order, Shukhrat Teshayev has been designated a minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources said.
According to the press service, the new head of the Ministry was presented at the ministry on Feb. 7.
Before this designation, Teshayev had worked as the first deputy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, was a deputy of the Director General of science and production association "Pakhta tozalash".
In September 2013, former minister of Agriculture and Water Resources Zafar Ruziyev was appointed Khokim (the head of the Administration) of Kashkadarya district.
