The Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan Nov. 12, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a message.
During the scheduled bilateral meetings in Tashkent, the parties will discuss the state and prospects of the Uzbekistan-China cooperation as well as the regional and international issues.
The parties are also expected to visit Samarkand.
Development of the security partnership and expansion of the economic, investment, scientific and humanitarian cooperation are the priority areas in the relations between the two countries.
In 2015, trade turnover between China and Uzbekistan amounted to $4.1 billion. The Chinese investments to Uzbekistan’s economy exceed $6.5 billion.
