The national airline of Uzbekistan is opening cargo flights from the Navoi International Airport to China’s Guangzhou city and back.
The flights will be being carried out every week, on Wednesdays, by Boeing 767 aircraft with a payload of up to 50 tons.
“The opening of cargo air communication will give new opportunities for domestic exporters of agricultural, textile and other products to promote their goods, especially demanded on export markets, and will contribute to strengthening of economic ties and business partnership between countries,” said Uzbekistan Airways in a message.
Currently, flights are carried out from the Navoi International Airport by cargo planes of Uzbekistan Airways to Frankfurt, Delhi, Dubai, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
