Trend:

The issue of supplying gas to remote villages and providing solutions to fuel cars even in the absence of stationary gas-filling compressor stations has been practically solved in Uzbekistan, Uzbekneftegaz JSC said in a message.

Manufacture of mobile gas filling stations is established in the free economic zone Angren at a joint venture UNG Enk Mobile, established in October 2017 by Uzbekneftegaz and the South Korean company NK Group.

According to Uzbekneftegaz mostly regional entrepreneurs will work with these mobile gas filling stations. They know the needs of their respective region, and thus, will be able to determine where it is cost-effective to install the mobile stations. The stations may be installed in the immediate vicinity of fields during the period of agricultural work.

At the beginning of 2018, two mobile gas filling stations and two gas filling columns were brought to Uzbekistan from the Republic of Korea. They were tested in the Tashkent region during spring field work for refueling special agricultural, freight and passenger vehicles with compressed natural gas (CNG).

Farms are potential buyers of such stations. In addition, there are great opportunities for efficient operation of the PGAS from entrepreneurs working with stationary CNG refueling stations, where refueling of mobile stations will be carried out. Entrepreneurs, working in the field of stationary CNG filling stations have great opportunities, since the mobile gas filling stations need to be refueled at such stationary stations.

The mobile gas filling compressor stations can refuel about 30 tractors. The station's capacity is more than 5000 cubic meters of gas.

Presently, the joint venture has concluded ten contracts and the first deliveries are on the way.

The mobile stations provide compressed natural gas (methane). This fuel is being increasingly used for agricultural machinery and other vehicles in Uzbekistan.
