Uzbekistan’s car production up within 9M2020

From January through September 2020, Uzbekistan increased car production by 16.81 percent, Trend reports with reference to State Statistic Committee of Uzbekistan.

For 9M2020 Uzbekistan produced 217,770 passenger cars, which is 16.81 percent higher compared to the same period in 2019.

In the automotive industry for the reported period, 59,252 Cobalt vehicles were produced (growth rates compared to the same period in 2019 amounted to 55.7 percent), 52,689 - Nexia (+1 percent), 39,960 - Gentra (+36.4 percent), 39,631 - Damas (+7.6 percent), 19,980 - Spark (+29.9 percent) and 6,259 - Labo (+16.5 percent).

From January through September 2020, 519 buses were produced in the country. For the same period in 2019, there was a decrease in production by 61.2 percent. The largest production volume in 2020 was recorded in March - 176 buses.

Some 174,500 automotive engines were produced in Uzbekistan for 9M2020, which is 24.4 percent compared to the same period in 2019. In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in July, amounting to 24,100 units.

The number of trucks produced in the Uzbekistan for 9M2020 amounted to 2,936, which is 27.1 percent less compared to the same period in 2019. In 2020, the largest volume of production of trucks was noted in September, amounting to 390 units.
