Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC top the list of the most profitable companies in Uzbekistan in 2020, Trend reports with reference to the State Asset Management Agency in Uzbekistan (SAMA).
The SAMA has compiled a list of 10 companies in Uzbekistan with the highest net profit and a list of 10 companies that suffered the highest losses in 2020.
It is noted that the experts were based on an analysis of the financial statements of 1,903 companies.
According to the list, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC were recognized as the company with the highest net profit, and Uztransgaz JSC was recognized as the company with the highest losses in 2020.
Top 10 companies with the highest net profit:
Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC - 3.432 trillion soums ($327 million);
Uzbekneftegaz JSC – 3.4 trillion ($324 million);
Ferganaazot JSC - 292.6 billion soums ($27.9 million);
Uzbekistan Metallurgical Plant JSC - 218.5 billion soums ($20.8 million);
Khududgaztaminot JSC - 211.2 billion soums ($20 million);
Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan LLC - 205.7 billion soums ($19.6 million);
Koskom LLC - 199.8 billion soums ($19 million);
Uzshakhar Qurilish Invest LLC - 168.8 billion soums ($16 million);
Uzavtosanoat JSC - 160.3 billion soums ($15.3 million);
Uzbek Republican Commodity And Raw Materials Exchange - 94.8 billion soums ($9 million).

Uzbekistan Airways JSC - 755.7 billion soums ($72 million);

Tashkent Metallurgical Plant LLC - 380 billion soums ($36 million);
TPP New Angren JSC - 245.6 billion soums ($23.4 million);
Uzbekkumir JSC - 183.8 billion soums ($17.5 million);
TPP Angren JSC - 177.7 billion soums ($17 million);
