Uzbekistan to increase copper sulfate exports to Poland

Uzbekistan and Poland agreed to increase volumes of copper sulfate exports to Poland from 4,000 to 5,000 tons in 2021, Trend reports referring to the Embassy of Poland in Uzbekistan.

A delegation of the Polish Chem Trade Center company headed by its director Przemyslav Furmanovsky visited Uzbekistan. The delegation was received by the Chairman of the Board of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) Abdulla Khursanov.

Also, the meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Bahrom Babayev.

According to the information, the Polish company has been importing copper sulphate and zinc sulphate produced by AGMK for three years now, and the volume of exports to Poland of these products is growing every year.

It is reported that at the beginning of 2021, with the active participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, two contracts were signed for the supply to Poland of copper sulfate in the amount of 4,000 tons and zinc sulfate in the amount of 300 tons. The total amount of contracts exceeded $4 million.

During the meeting, the Poland side high assessed the quality and attractive price of Uzbek products and emphasized an interest in increasing the volume of supplies.

In turn, the head of the AMMC stressed that the Chem Trade Center has established itself as a reliable and conscientious partner in Poland, which contributes to an increase in the volume of exports of the plant's products to European countries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to increase the previously agreed volumes of copper sulfate imports to Poland from 4,000 to 5,000 tons in 2021.
