Spain considers opening center for supply of pedigree small ruminants in Uzbekistan

Spain considers the issue of opening the center for the supply of pedigree small ruminants and embryos in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Madrid (Spain).

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Madrid organized online negotiations between representatives of the Committee for the Development of Sericulture and Karakul Breeding of Uzbekistan with the leadership of the Spanish Ovigen Company and WES consortium.

During the talks, the Spanish side announced that it was considering the issue of opening in Uzbekistan, together with the State Committee for the Development of Sericulture and Karakul Breeding, a Center for the supply of pedigree small cattle and embryos.

The plans also include the organization of trainings, education and advanced training of specialists of clusters and farms engaged in breeding small ruminants, the provision of consulting and methodological services in this area.

Thus, in order to get acquainted with the existing potential of the company and visually study the processes of working with embryos, as well as discuss possible options for cooperation in this area, the Spanish side proposed to organize a visit of the Uzbek delegation to Spain in June.

As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue within the framework of considering the possibilities of establishing cooperation and organizing the mentioned visit.

Earlier it was reported that the Spanish Molecor company considers the implementation of a joint project to organize the production of molecular-oriented PVC pipes in Uzbekistan.

During the negotiations, the CEO of Molecor, Ignacio Muñoz, informed that his company is interested in the implementation of this project and is ready to finance most of the cost of the project, which is expected to amount to 25 million euros.
