BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Uzbekistan produced 2.6 million tons of meat, 11.3 million tons of milk, 8 billion eggs and 22,800 tons of silkworm cocoon in 2021,Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The committee conducted an analysis, during which the regions with the largest share in livestock production were identified.
Thus, 11.8 percent of all meat produced in the country falls on the share of Kashkadarya region, 11.8 percent of dairy products and 13 percent of silkworm cocoons - on the Samarkand region.
Among the countries, which imported Uzbek meat Belarus takes leading position. It exports 18,700 tons of meat per year from Uzbekistan.
