BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. Uzbekistan's financial sector index at the Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange reached 1,493.78 points on May 24, increasing by 516.49 points from May 23, Trend reports via the Exchange.
The figure for the industrial sector has fall, settling at 3,756.18 points – a decrease of 13.57 points compared to the May 23 figure (3,769.75 points).
The figure for the construction sector reached 3,862.56 points on May 24 from 3,899.57 points on May 23.
The trade sector index reached 13,011.1 points on May 24,increasing by 20.7 points compared to the May 23 figure (12,990.40 points).
Uzbekistan's "Toshkent" republican stock exchange was formed in 1994 to help further expand economic reforms in the country and protect private property and business development.
