BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. The total portfolio of bank loans in Uzbekistan amounted to 343.6 trillion soums ($31.3 billion) from January through June 2022, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek Central Bank.
This indicator increased by 14.3 percent compared to the same period last year (300.4 trillion soums or $27.4 billion).
During this period, the loan portfolio of state-owned banks amounted to 288.9 trillion soums ($26.3 billion), and private banks – 54.6 trillion soums ($4.9 billion).
The volume of non-performing loans (NPL) for the corresponding period amounted to 16.8 trillion soums ($1.5 billion).
