BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. The volume of timber products exports from the Kirov region of Russia to Uzbekistan from January through August 2022 has been published, Trend reports via Russian Rosselkhoznadzor Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported 27,000 cubic meters of timber products from the Russian region.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan entered the top 3 largest importers of timber products from the Kirov region from January through August this year.
According to the results of the laboratory control carried out in the Kirov branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center (VNIIKR), phytosanitary certificates were issued to exporters allowing the export of products outside the Russian Federation.
