BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. Uzbekistan and Belarus aim to launch the Agroexpress project for the accelerated delivery of food,Trend reports via the press service of the Uzbek president.
This was discussed during a meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to speed up work on expanding the network of trading houses and logistics centers in the two countries.
Bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the countries is actively moving forward. The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 44 percent last year, and by another 12 percent over the first seven months of this year.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Belarus stressed the need to promote mutually beneficial partnership in the field of industrial cooperation in mechanical engineering, agro-industrial field, chemical, pharmaceutical industries.
